From Tree to Table

I work primarily with locally harvested lumber to create custom furniture and distinctive kitchen wares. Each piece has a story when using wood from close to home, whether sourced directly from the sawyer, or milled up with our portable saw mill on site.

Our hope is to support the community. Being more involved in the process from tree to table allows for greater design options and a more unique finished piece.

A variety of tools, both modern and traditional, are used in the making of a piece of furniture. Power tools are fast and accurate, but hand tools create and highlight the subtleties and defining qualities that lie just beneath the surface. 

Our workshop is located in Maple Valley, Washington on our small family farm. Together we are raising four boys and working everyday to do our best with what we have been given.
